RCVS Diplomate in Veterinary Ophthalmology
Rebecca graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1987 and gained her RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2002.
In 1995 Rebecca rejoined the RVC to undertake a residency in Ophthalmology, which was completed in 1998, during which time she obtained the RCVS Certificate in Ophthalmology. After completing the residency she was employed initially as a Staff Clinician in the Queen Mother Referral Hospital and latterly as a lecturer in Ophthalmology at the Royal Veterinary College.
Rebecca is interested in all aspects of Ophthalmology, both medical and surgical, including management of cataract by phacoemulsification, with placement of intraocular lenses, corneal disorders, and management of intraocular disease, particularly that associated with feline systemic hypertension.
