Bernard Walsh graduated from University College Dublin in 1987. After working in practice for 6 years, he gained his Certificate in Veterinary Radiology. Bernard then worked as a resident in radiology at the University of Pennsylvania and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology.

Bernard currently works at North Kent Referrals as a referral radiologist. He is happy to accept radiographs for interpretation; however, in the patient's best interest, cases requiring diagnostic imaging are usually accepted via the internal medicine service.

All manner of diagnostic imaging procedures including thoracic and abdominal ultrasound, ultrasound guided biopsies and radiographic contrast studies are undertaken. Bernard can also arrange and interpret MRI and CT scans on referred patients.
