Paul Mellor qualified from Edinburgh University with degrees in Immuno-Pathology and veterinary medicine in 1995. He went on to work in a variety of small animal practices, both in the UK and abroad, and completed his Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2001. Paul completed a three year residency at the University of Cambridge as the Hill's Clinical Scholar in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2004 and gained his diploma in the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine during 2006.

His areas of special interest include endocrinology, oncology, immune-mediated diseases and adverse drug reactions. Paul has won both the ESVCP (European Society Veterinary Clinical Pathology) and ESVONC (European Society Veterinary Oncology) 2006 best research abstract prizes for various aspects of feline myeloma disease. click here if you would like to read them.

Paul has recently become NKR's Clinical Director in order to provide a foundation for further expansion and works closely with his colleagues John Hutt and Rachel Sant, who also see medicine cases.
